Wiv is a non profit organization which was established in 2006. Our mission is to give assistance to women who are into small scale industries, including batikers, seamstress and artisans etc. Assistance we give are finance, skills development, book keeping or acounting methods and consultancy. The main objective is for the african women to be independent to take care of their family and to develope their nation.
Our vision is to elliminate poverty in sekondi-takoradi and ghana. We are located in sekondi-takoradi. Our activites are growing along the line, women are now developing their own skill, we are putting them into a development trade while they can sow or design a batike or material and sell to earn revenue. A number of 50 women are now under women in vision. These women are learning how to design batikes and other materials, sowing fashionable african wears, designing african beads to produce necklace, bracelets and slippers, also bags and many more.
